Terms of service

1. The service

Release Council coordinates automated and human-participation inspections of applications and, when authorised, connected source repositories. Findings are evidence-based recommendations, not guarantees that an application is defect-free or suitable for release.

2. Your authority

You must have permission to inspect every target, account and repository you submit. You must not bypass access controls or inspect third-party systems without authorisation.

3. Test credentials and content

Release Council does not discover credentials for your application. If authenticated testing is requested, you must provide a dedicated, least-privilege test account that contains no real customer or payment data and is authorised for this purpose. Do not submit personal or production accounts, OTPs, recovery codes, payment credentials, unlawful content or secrets unrelated to the inspection. Revoke or rotate the test account after review. You are responsible for the account, content and instructions supplied to council members.

4. Automated and review-gated actions

You choose manual, semi-automatic or autonomous review settings where available. The service may prepare code bundles, issues or adapter instructions, but external changes occur only through a configured destination and the approval policy you select. You remain responsible for testing, deployment and rollback.

5. AI output and learning

AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Accepted learning and verified remediation patterns may influence future reviews in your workspace. Review standing instructions and learning history periodically and remove guidance that is no longer appropriate.

6. Credits, plans and payment

Credits represent total review capacity across AI analysis, isolated browser execution, evidence capture, storage, orchestration and platform operation. They are not cash, stored monetary value or refundable currency. A review may temporarily reserve up to approximately 3,000 credits; this is not the final charge. Final consumption is based on measured usage and unused reserved credits are automatically returned. Published usage ranges are estimates, not guarantees, and deeper specialist selections or repository analysis can consume more capacity. Checkout shows the selected plan, included credits, renewal terms and applicable charges before payment.

7. Recordings

You must notify participants and obtain any consent required by applicable law before recording. Human-participation reviews require recording consent and a saved review record.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for malware, credential theft, destructive access, unlawful surveillance, infringement, or activity that violates provider terms or applicable law.

9. Availability and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service period. Nothing excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
